Dr. Ryan W. Piche

Dr. Ryan Piche is the owner and optometrist at Coastal Plains Eye Care. Dr. Piche formerly practiced in Glennville, GA for five years before opening his own practice in Claxton.

Dr. Piche graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 2018 with highest honors. He was active in the student division of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and has traveled to Belize, Colombia, and Mexico to provide eye care to those in need. He plans to continue to serve on eyecare trips in the future.

He is a member of the Georgia Optometric Association, Rotary Club, and Lions Club and has volunteered with the Lions Lighthouse to provide eye exams for the local community.

Dr. Piche provides primary eye care for all ages and manages ocular disease including dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. He also has experience fitting specialty contact lenses for keratoconus and irregular corneas.

Dr. Piche is originally from Iowa but is now proud to call Georgia home. He resides in Ludowici with his wife and two cats. In his free time, Dr. Piche enjoys weight training, traveling, and going to concerts with his wife. He loves the small town feel and can’t wait to be a part of the Claxton community.
